Hi viktor
I have the tricks to ge t rid of unreachable nfs servers mount point
First config the ip of nfs servers ip to any virtual interface I mean ifconfig lan0:1 ipaddress netmask NETMASK
Then umount mount point
Once its gone then ifconfig lan0:1 0.0.0.0
Some time you need to move mnttab then stop/start syncer daemon

I would like to understand if you were intending to change the controller to HBA mode or RAID mode. You state:
Change the controller to RAID mode
Then issue:
fs0:\> saupdate set_mode p410i hba

I’m trying to understand when to use RAID mode vs HBA mode.

Firs of all, sorry for the late answer, the email notification for comments doesn’t work. If disk wiping is a day-to-day activity in your shop, you may consider WipeDisk/UX from Allegro Consulting.

Otherwise, just do it with dd.
